If you are serious about the goals you’re setting and getting things done, the best way is to get organized. Make a plan and execute it. Use whatever method you need to. Many folks are using their phones or other electronic device to setting reminders. I tried the electronic way for a while, but for me, the best method is to WRITE IT DOWN. I enjoy the old-school method of paper and pen. I like seeing everything at a glance and knowing what needs to get done. There is a real sense of accomplishment when something gets checked of the list. At the end of a busy week, it’s nice to reflect back on how much actually got done.
There are tons of beautiful and functional calendar/planners on the market. The one I’m currently using is by Commit30. There are sections at the beginning of each month for monthly goals, which I have found very useful. This planner helps you set and track goals for the week, the month and the year. Or if you choose to only use it for the calendar and appointments, it’s super functional for that.
I’m able to track my appointments and special days, as well as my workouts and daily calorie intake. Make it even more personal and fun with stickers, fun color pens and highlighters.
